June 5–7, Red Light Arts & Culture presents four free concerts as part of the Red Light Jazz Festival, hosted at the Prostitution Information Center (PIC), The Brokers Bar at Meet Berlage, and the Boomsspijker Garden.

Join us for a weekend of intimate performances where jazz meets improvisation, folk traditions, and intercultural exchange. Featuring Sanem Kalfa, Zenzele Trio, Meander Trio, and the César Vidal Trio, each act offers a distinct take on contemporary jazz – adventurous, personal, and deeply connected to the neighbourhood’s creative spirit.

All our artists either live in the area or have been connected to the neighbourhood in several ways (working, previous resident, studying). This is part of the Red Light Jazz Festival where there are dozens of other performances from the Festival. Be sure to check out their website: www.redlightjazz.com

Many of our other collaborators and venues are also featured on the programming!

Check out our interactive program and map for a quick overview!

The César Vidal Trio brings together Chilean saxophonist and composer César Vidal, Italian pianist Pietro Aloi, and Catalan double bassist Ton Felices. Influenced by deep listening and spontaneous interaction, their music shifts fluidly through melody, texture, and experimentation.

César Vidal has performed at venues and festivals including BIMHUIS, Getxo Jazz, Fête de la Musique in Switzerland, and JazzBer, while continuing to tour and release new work across Europe.
