Sunday, June 21 @ 3pm
De Boomspijker Garden (entrance at Recht Boomsslot 52)
Alikistis Misouli, viola
Micheal Murray, saxophone
This neo-classical duo creates impressionistic and ambient sonic landscapes that takes you on a perfect summer’s journey.
Bringing together the unusual combination of viola and alto saxophone, Misouli and Murray navigate a landscape where composition and tonal improvisation intersect. While their artistic voices have been profoundly informed by Western classical music, jazz, and other musical traditions, these influences surface as instinct rather than convention.
Alkistis has been living in the Red Light District for several years.
