The aim is to fill the Red Light District with music, dance, art and social connection – specifically focusing on those connected to the neighbourhood.

Each location will feature a visual artist from the neighbourhood with some of their works and a local dancer or musician. The performance, tailor-made for the venue, will last 15 minutes and will take place at that location more frequently throughout the day.

The owner or representative of the venue will speak briefly before each performance and introduce themselves and the history of their business or building.

The performer of the piece and the visual artist will also tell something about themselves and their work. At the end of the day, there will be drinks at a local café where audience members can quietly get to know the musicians, artists and shop owners.

The programme includes a map and programme of the day, and there is a special awards programme for young people aged 20 and under.
