June 26 – Joan Fort Trio featuring Benjamin Herman!
The Joan Fort Trio is one of the latest projects by the Catalan guitarist and composer, based in Amsterdam. Known for its love of swing and uplifting straight-ahead jazz, the trio draws deeply from the North American jazz tradition.
After collaborating with artists such as Jeremy Pelt, Dick Oatts, Vincent Herring, Jorge Rossy, Grant Stewart, and Virginia McDonald, the trio now welcomes one of the most celebrated figures on the Dutch jazz scene: alto saxophonist Benjamin Herman.
Joined by a rock-solid rhythm section featuring Philip Lewin on bass and David Puime on drums, the quartet takes audiences on a journey into the moment, exploring timeless melodies that remain as fresh and modern today as ever. Their music blends contemporary and traditional jazz, with improvisation, soul, and storytelling at its heart. Fort describes his approach simply: “Music as storytelling.”
An evening that jazz lovers shouldn’t miss!

July 17 – Diego Cañada Trio
Saxophonist and composer Diego Cañada, embraces sound as a force that transcends boundaries, uniting souls in a shared emotional experience. Just as every vibration in nature carries meaning, his latest project ‘Gestos’, channels the essence of diverse musical traditions—jazz, Indian classical music, flamenco, Western classical, and Afro-Cuban rhythms—into a universal language of connection.
Through melody, rhythm, and movement, it seeks not just to be heard but to be felt, resonating with the listener’s inner world and evoking a profound sense of unity. Founded in 2024, the band has already recorded the first movement of an opera and is now expanding its vision by collaborating with dancers and choreographers, pushing artistic boundaries through a powerful fusion of sound and movement.
