All our artists either live in the area or have been connected to the neighbourhood in several ways (working, previous resident, studying). Meet Berlage’s entrance has 9 steps. There is an accessible entrance via Damrak 243 (Beurs van Berlage) with a small lift for the stairs.
Imprevisti plays energetic and danceable music full of nostalgia, intimate and warm memories composed by Lorenzo Servali. His music is universal and his capacity to collaborate has caused his music to carry the influence of his co-musicians and his musical surroundings. The sound of this band is dynamic, taking inspiration from folk and electronic music in a jazz context. Album release: “imprevisti” will be released on Irma Records this June 2024.

Federica Lorusso, born in Bari, Italy, displayed a strong artistic inclination from an early age, supported by her family. Starting with singing at 12, she later pursued jazz piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Federica has performed internationally, including prestigious venues in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and Greece. Notable achievements include being a finalist in the “Premio Internazionale Massimo Urbani” jazz competition. In 2022, Federica released her debut album as a leader, titled “Outside Introspections.” Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in vocals and piano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Federica has also graced stages at festivals like the Fano Jazz Festival, Waddensea Jazz Festival, Ujazz, and the Bimhuis

Chieko Donker Duyvis is an interdisciplinary artist, cellist, vocalist and composer from Amsterdam with Brazilian/Japanese roots.
Starting as a classical cellist, she created her own path in music, studying Masters in Latin American vocals, jazz improvisation and composition at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. She has toured Europe, Asia, Mexico and Brazil and was invited to play her compositions several times at Concertgebouw and national television and writes film music for several documentaries.
