Wandelconcert
a performance journey through the Red Light District
sex, gender and self-expression
This performance journey takes you through the Red Light District, a center of freedom, self-expression and recreation but also prejudice, inequality and exploitation. In this two-hour program, you will enjoy dance, music and stories in three unique locations around the neighborhood.
Aynouk Tan (they/she), Fernando Belfiore (he/him), and Adanya Dunn (she/her) each create an artistic dialogue with the surroundings and the people through their vulnerable performances. In intimate performances, they touch upon themes of belonging, gender identity, sexuality, and social cohesion. Throughout this journey we celebrate our differences and envision our commonalities despite our diversity. The performance ends with a drink in a local café where the artists and the audience can get to know each other and share experiences.
Pay-what-you-can event (suggested € 10-25)
